It has been a tough year of trial and error, but I survived! I’m older, wiser and more confident than ever.

About a thousand people gathered in LOVE Park as the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs, Trans Equity Project, ACLU PA, and William Way Community Center hosted a rally for Trans Existence and Resistance on October 23, 2018. Former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels hugs David P. Montgomery, Chairman of the Philadelphia Phillies at a dedication event honoring Montgomery on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Daisy Field in Roxborough was renamed in honor of Montgomery, who started with the Phillies in 1971 as a season-ticket salesman. Isiah Zagar is the artist and mastermind behind the Magic Gardens. This South Street institution is a mosaic wonderland filled with folk art, glittery mirrors and found objects that contributed to the revival of South Street. Zagar made an appearance last night at the monthly Twilight in the Gardens event on June 23, 2018. Brianna Spause / This Is Philly

This pilot Mural Arts initiative will travel to nine recreation centers, bringing professional artists face to face with kids in after-school programs.
